
Everybody writes for an audience, even diary writers, who are their own audience. A letter author might write for an audience of one, a service author might write of an audience of thousands or more, if they are fortunate, and the Stephen Kings of the world compose for millions. No matter audience size, writers want readers to read what they have composed.
Careers in writing are restricted to Writing Books or composing short articles. False. Quite so. While Writing Books, non-fictional books, or articles are most likely the most popular methods to make money with your writing, there are many, a lot more. Food writing, copy-writing, and composing website content, simply among others.

If You Wish to Compose by Brenda Ueland. As the subtitle says, this is a book about self-reliance, spirit and art. Ueland encourages us to be negligent when we write. Be a pirate, she states. Be a lion. We have that high-end because no genuine damage comes from composing despite how recklessly we produce it. She begins a number of chapters by pricing estimate the excellent poet William Blake, in one case utilizing this scorching Blake quote: "Sooner Books to read before you die strangle a baby in its cradle than nurse unacted desires."
